Over a period of 24 hours, in the personae of Dr. Will and Michelle. Nikhil occupied Aldama Fabre Gallery and the pavement in front of it. In collaboration with Violeta Lisboa aka Party Smith using sound and projection they created a performance that involved exploring personae, while making large- scale drawings in situ, with the desire to unpack a critical relationship with love and its power to heal. On the second day, the performance incorporated Bilbao’s citizens and Summit attendees around a celebration of community and art. The paintings, drawings and objects created along these actions are a residual component of the performance. Bending gender, shape and identity, Nikhil uses personal history to question nationhood and existentialism.
